QUICK HIT 🤷 | | 🚓 Police seize guns, drugs, etc.: Police made six arrests and seized weapons and drugs during a raid in Prince County on Monday. Acting on a search warrant south of Wellington, officers confiscated 13 firearms, predominantly rifles and shotguns, along with a taser. Authorities also seized 115 grams of cocaine, 150 methamphetamine pills, crystal meth, 73 cartons of cigarettes, over $8,000 in cash and various drug-related paraphernalia. RCMP say that charges are pending, including possible charges for unsafe storage of two firearms. |

COMMUNITY CORNER | | 🥶 Coats for Kids: As leaves fall and the wind chills, winter wear will again takeover our coat racks and closets…that is, of course, if you have a winter jacket. Coats for Kids is an annual campaign that collects gently used winter items for families in need. If you’re able to give, items can be dropped off between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday, until October 28 at Confederation Court Mall by the escalators. More information is available on Downtown Charlottetown Inc.’s website. | | 🚌 Transit Survey: The New Charlottetown Project, a non-partisan grassroots initiative advocating for citizen participation, local democracy, and good governance in the community, recently launched Better Transit Now! As a first step, it created two surveys, one to collect data from regular transit users , and the other from occasional or non transit users. People of all ages and abilities are invited to participate. The surveys close next Tuesday, October 24. | | 📛 Hello, My Name Is: A Public Schools Branch committee has been formed to come up with a name for the new high school going up in Stratford. If you have any suggestions, this survey will be available until October 23.
