Georgetown man arrested for impaired driving during school hours

RCMP release: A 52 year old Georgetown man was arrested in Georgetown Thursday afternoon, November 17th, for impaired driving. The man failed the breathalyzer with readings in excess of three times the legal limit. S/Sgt Thibeau states, “The impaired driver was arrested at approximately 2:25 pm. One of the reasons this is very concerning is because at this time, a lot of students would have been leaving from school, heading home for the day.” The man was lodged in cells and will be making a court appearance on December 22, 2011. There was no accident or injuries related to this incident.
